Random musing

I asked my DH the other day why it was that I had to work so hard this year with school stuff -- and he said it was because I had gotten a late start to my teaching career. True enough, and very true, too, that the delay in my return to teaching came after some other jobs. Those jobs came after I stayed at home to be a mommy. When I look at it that way, the hard work this year is worth the joy-filled years I had staying home with our daughter.

Another Toy

I got a great toy for my birthday in March - a Vivienne Tam HP netbook. There was nothing wrong with my cute iPod nano, but I succombed to an iPod Touch today (used my anniversary money to buy most of it). I've added The Fiery Cross, some CDs/albums, the Kindle App, and four or five books, so far. I can't imagine how happy I'll be with my newest toy when I learn more about it. I did put it down long enough to start a load of laundry and grade some papers. Must do report cards tomorrow . . . .
